Overview:This site is dedicated to the beautiful Princess Kakyuu and those that pledge their allegiance to her, the Starlights. I found that though there are tons of Sailor Moon Websites there are very few dedicated to them. This is my tribute. o_O

Princess Kakyuu reigned Kinmoku as a gentle ruler. Times were peaceful until Sailor Galaxia and her minions came and destroyed that peace during the Holy Wars. (also known as Sailor Wars) which lasted for many long years throughout the galaxy before Sailor Moon and the senshi ever got involved. The kingdom was completely devasted and many lives were taken, including that of Kakyuu's love. After her kingdom was destroyed, she goes to Earth with her guardians, the Sailor Starlights in order to restore her kingdom, and seek revenge on Sailor Galaxia. She embarks on a mission to get the 'Light of Hope' which turned out to be Chibi Chibi Usagi. |

Once they reached earth, the Starlights and Kakyuu got seperated while Kakyuu stayed in an inscence burner protected by Chibi-Chibi in order to rebuild her strength. While she was recovering she manifested herself into a butterfly (or multiple) and watched over the Starlights and Usagi. In the anime, we first became aware of the Princess through the Starlights. They became icons in order to get her attention somehow, and through their songs they called to her from within their hearts. |

On an odd note: Yaten in one of the episodes admitted his love for her thinking she was the most radiant of any. Unlike Seiya, he didn't like girls and threw away his fan mail. He wasn't interested in any of them. Sailor Uranus and Neptune stayed Usagi away from her fearing that the Starlights evil even though Usagi wanted them to be allies. In the end the princess and Usagi fought Galaxia together allied with the Starlights. Sadly, she was felled by Galaxia after fighting courageously. In the end she reappears with the Starlights and they fade in the light.(returning to their planet) |
