Remember how the Oav ends??The last episode is where Rin is remembering Shion's childhood. Shion was adopted by Lazlo(his foster father) and of course he lived with Kayaa--the big alien cat! Shion is very happy then on day Lazlo and Kayaa are killed in an accident. Lian-the nun at the orphanage- was taking Shion back and then Shin heard singing comming from the house and he ran back. There he saw Lazlo and Kayaa. They disapeared and then he saw the picture of Sarjilim. Then he says....now I remember..since the first time I awaken. Then you see Rin and Alice on the beach havning a good time....."we'll laugh, we'll cry....as the summer passes us by."

Rin is lying on his bed on the hospital with bandages on his face. Alice leans over him distraught....She realizes that he is dreaming....(Rin's Dream)The scene changes to a school yard. Gyokuran is introducing his new found friend, Shukaido, to Shion. Shion grimily looks on. Shukaido finds Gyokuran to be friendly and praises him for being such a good person. He assumes that Shion and Gyokuran are long time friends. He expects Shion to be happy but...

Shion thinking: Gyokuran doesn't want to accept that he has weaknesses too. He always show people how good he is because he wanted to use our praises to add up to his self-confidence believing that he is truly good. He's just making fun of us!

After talking, Shion goes back to his room and thinks back to when he and Gyokuran were small. Gyokuran had invited Shion over to his house.

Shion: Gyokuran seemed to have good intentions but he just wanted me to see how happy he was, but I coul never be that happy...I don't have a family and won't ever!...(he is crouching with his head tucked between his knees obviously tormented as a small boy....)
